Welcome to the Burkhead/Moon Family Tree. Patricia A Green (Burkhead)and myself, Karen L  Hughes(Burkhead) have been working hard for a number of years to gather, research and compile  information for our family tree. It all began with the many notes, journals and pictures that my  Grandmother (Pat's mother) Catherine V Burkhead (Moon) had kept through the years.

I have been working on the Ancestry website and with other extended family researchers. Pat has  been collecting current generation information for many years and compiling photo albums of  ancestors and relatives.

Together we have been able to create this family tree and we are dedicated to maintaining it for  future generations. Ancestry research is always a work in progress. Care has been taken to  research and verify all information contained in the family tree and you will see many  documents attached to the pages of our ancestors. These documents verify the information listed  for an individual from outside research.
